What is a Plak?

Plaks are custom wood prints. Whether its a wedding photo, a family portrait, or your favorite pet, they all look better printed on sustainable, Made in USA wooden plaks. The natural beauty of the wood shows through the image giving each piece a unique and natural look.

How do you make custom wood prints?

We have over 25 years of experience in commercial printing using state-of-the-art machines. We source the highest quality wood and use our new process to print your images onto the wood. We also do wholesale orders for photographers and re-sellers as well as point of purchase / promotional pieces for anyone who appreciates a nice wooden plak!

How do I mount my plak on the wall?

The plaks have ledges on the back, enabling you to set them on top of existing screws in the wall.  Or, just put a couple nails in the wall (level of course) and you’re all set!

How are you able to print directly on the wood?

A group of highly skilled artisans attack the wood with single-pixel brushes and elbow grease. The results are amazing!

How long is the turnaround time?

Generally once an order is placed it takes 10-15 business days processing in addition to shipping time. Shipping time varies depending on whether you want Priority or Parcel Post service, with the longest shipping times being around 7 days.

My wife’s birthday is in two days! Can I get it by then!?

Unfortunately, since each piece is built to order, two days isn’t possible (yet).  However, we will soon be offering gift cards that ship out immediately (via email) so that your loved one can design their own!

What file formats do you accept?

Our custom app will accept most photo formats, but the best is a .jpg set at 300 dpi. Try to use the original photo when possible for the best quality print.  If you want to use ones from Facebook or Instagram, download them to your computer first before creating them on our site!  If you have questions just follow the directions in the “create” section.

What are your shipping options?

We ship using USPS and UPS, depending on the size of the order
