Custom Made in the USA

All of our plaks are made in the USA. From humble beginnings in a surfer’s garage, we are a growing family business. The owner Wyatt foresees production  from start to finish. Each piece of wood that the plaks are cut from  is carefully chosen for top quality. The look of the wood is very important, since the textured pattern is a main component of what adds to the rustic charm of each plak. The color white is not printed. Instead it is left clear so that the grain of the wood can show through. This adds more depth to the pictures on wood, by creating a vibrant effect.

Sustainable Products

PlakThat.com is  an environmentally conscious company.  We protect the natural environment by making responsible choices during our manufacturing process. We try to leave the smallest carbon footprint possible when creating our product. One major step is making sure that all of our wood is from 100% FSC sustainable sources.  This means that all of the wood is sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable manner. We also save the extra pieces of wood from large cuts for smaller plaks and backing so that no piece goes to waste. Our belief in running a responsible business that is both friendly to our customers and the environment is what makes us stand out.
